High Speed Sintering (HSS) is an industrial 3D printing process for polymers, based on powder bed fusion. Instead of a laser, it uses a radiation-absorbing ink that is selectively applied to each layer of powder. An infrared lamp then fuses the printed area in a single pass – enabling fast, efficient part production.
Key advantages of HSS:
High build speed, large build volume and consistent layer times
Excellent repeatability and dimensional accuracy
Ideal for prototyping and serial production
Sharp details, smooth surfaces, and strong mechanical properties
HSS combines productivity with quality – making it a compelling alternative to SLS or MJF.
The agricultural equipment manufacturer Lindner is known for its high-performance, custom-built tractors. To meet demanding quality and design requirements, Lindner relies on High Speed Sintering (HSS) for the serial production of joystick components.
Assess dimensional accuracy and surface quality
Evaluate material properties and consistency
Compare directly with SLS or MJF output
All benchmarks are produced in our on-demand service centers. Apart from a shipping fee, there are no costs for you.
